Getting Started with the Gabe Golf Video Academy
If this is your first time working with Gabe, send a short email to firstname.lastname@example.org. In the email, briefly describe your golf goals and your current level of play.
Gabe will create a personalized coaching plan for you for the month. He will ask you to email videos of specific shots. Within 48 hours after you email your videos, Gabe will will send you an analysis of your video along with customized practice drills or coaching. You will receive feedback through email and live Skype sessions with Gabe.
How to film the lesson
Shoot 2 to 4 short videos of the shot that Gabe has asked you to provide based on your individual coaching program.
Step 1: Record Two to Four Short Videos of your Swing
Record 2 to 4 short videos of your swing in real time (see the Filming Angle Guide below)
Using your mobile phone (iPhone or Android), film a few short videos of your issue from the angles requested in the Filming Angle Guide. You can have a friend take the video of you, or use a cradle or tripod for your mobile phone to take the video yourself.
Step 2: Sending in the Video
1. Cut each video to 10 seconds or less by using the cutting option on your phone.
2. Attach your 2 to 4 short videos to the email. In the body of the email, briefly describe the issue you would like Gabe to help you with.
3. Email video to email@example.com The subject of the email should be: Video Academy Lesson
For each shot, please take video from at least two angles. Chipping, Bunker Shots, and Putting will have additional angles.
Take the videos in real time using your mobile phone (iPhone or Android). You can have a friend take the video of you, or use a cradle or tripod for your mobile phone to take the video yourself.
For the full swing and flop shot film two short videos, one from the Front View and one from the Behind View as pictured below.
When sending in a question on Chipping, please send in 3 videos from the following three angles – Face On, Behind, and from the Hole

Putting (4 videos)
